Kunisaki Yukito, a traveller, arrives in a small town. He is searching for a girl in the sky, travelling from town to town, trying to earn some money by a puppet show. He can make his puppet moves with magic.

Unfortunately, his show is not always success. As kids don't like his show, he's not able to earn anything. Collapsed from hunger, he wakes up and meets a girl named Kamio Misuzu, a girl who has a dream about her flying in the sky.

Misuzu insists to become friend with Yukito, even invites him into her house. As Yukito finally stay for a while in that town, he makes new friends and start to continue his searching.

If you expect a shoujo anime, you have come to the wrong title. This anime is about summer, about dream, and about miracles.

From the maker of Kanon, AIR is a deep meaning anime. Some of the conversations require us to think more than twice to understand its true meaning. Recommended for age 13+. My rating : very good.
