Have you ever heard about a fairy tale of an angel whose robe had stolen by a human, and then become that man's wife? When she someday gets her robe back, the angel returns to heaven leaving her husband and her children. This story is popular in many countries, with some differences in the story detail.

The Mikage family is a very successful family. All family members have better intelligence and physical strength more than any normal human being. For many years, Mikage family married among themselves to protect their "pure" blood. And where is that different blood came from?

It was a story that Mikage family is actually descendant of an angel (tenyoo, a celestial being) named Ceres. After got her celestial robe stolen, Ceres can't return to heaven, and therefore she must stay on earth and become the thief's wife. That couple is the ancestor of a human-angel family, the Mikage family. But is that the real story?

Aya and Aki, twin brother and sister, born in the Mikage family, live normally until their 16th birthday. Unlike any other member of Mikage family, Aya has almost pure tenyoo blood and Aki has almost pure human blood. That blood enables Ceres to be able to reincarnate in Aya, such as two lifes in one body.

In their 16th birthday, Aya and Aki is invited to their grandfather's house where all the clan members are coming. Given a present of ancient hand, the hidden Ceres in Aya is finally awakened, and the whole family tried to kill Aya because they beliece Aya will destroy the Mikage family.

What is behind this conspiracy? What really happened in the past? What is actually Ceres' robe?

Deep story, nice touch, wonderful anime ! It makes us think again what is the purpose of our life. Recommended for age 15+. My rating : excellent.
