A masterpiece from Katsura Masakazu. I"s is a story about 4 young persons whose names all started with "I".

The first I is Seto Ichitaka. He is an ordinary student who has a crush on Yoshizuki Iori (the second I). Iori is a very popular girl in school, and there are countless boys trying to become her boyfriend. She even has her fan club ^_^

Ichitaka is a man with simple mindset, typical Japanese young man who has trouble expressing his feeling to a girl he loves. The greatest obstacle in his love appears when Iori becomes a popular model, they started to live in different worlds.

The third I is Akiba Itsuki. Itsuki is Ichitaka's childhood friend who went to US years ago. She finally return to Japan to fulfil a childhood promise with Ichitaka, to get married !

The last I is Isozaki Izumi, a girl who really looks like Iori. In the movie, she only meet Ichitaka for a short time and plays only a small role, but in the original manga, she has much more important role in Ichitaka's life.

Anime story is very packed and shortened from the original manga. It is however a good animation of a very touching story. Recommended for all ages. My rating : very good.
