Naegino Sora, a girl from Japan, goes to America to fulfil her dream to join the Kaleido Stage. Kaleido Stage is an entertainment group combining acrobatics, musicals, and special effects created by technology.

Arriving late in her audition, Sora made her first contact with Layla Hamilton, the star of Kaleido Stage, who is also Sora's idol. And her first impression of Sora couldn't be any worse.

After finally got accepted as Kaleido Star member, Sora starts to build her dream, following Layla's steps. Until one day she must take different path and must overcome Layla. Can she reach higher than Layla and become the true Kaleido Star?

A beautiful anime with all the colourful scenes and effects of the stage. The main story is actually simple, but they make the details very amusing and entertaining. If you need a good "light story" anime, then I suggest you consider this one. Recommended for all ages. My rating : very good.
