Just returned from China, Saotome Genma and his son, Saotome Ranma is heading to Tendou Souun's house. Genma and Souun are old friends. They decided to match Ranma with one of Souun's daughters to inherit the Tendou doujo.

And so Ranma and Akane are engaged from their parent's agreement. They hate it in the beginning, but as time flows by, love starts to grow between them.

Why Ranma 1/2? Well, because something happened in Ranma's training in China together with Genma. They went into a training ground named Jusenkyo and accidentally fell into magical springs there. Ranma fell into a spring which turns him into a girl when touching cold water; and Genma fell into a spring which turns him into a panda when touching cold water. With hot water, they can return to normal again, but things are not always that easy ^^

To make things more lively, we have Xian Pu, an Amazon girl who wants to marry Ranma because Ranma is the only person who can beat her. There's Ukyou, another Ranma's fiancee from complicated story. There's Ryouga, the eternal lost boy. There's Mousse, a man who loves Xian Pu, one sided love. There's Happosai, the master of Souun and Genma. There's Cologne, Xian Pu's grandmother. There are Kuno siblings; Tatewaki loves "female" Ranma and Kodachi loves "male" Ranma.

An all-time anime which will never get old. Funny, entertaining, always fresh for our tiring days. Recommended for age 13 or more. My rating : very excellent.
