In 1998, when most of my friends were still using paper and envelope to send their mails, I made my first Hotmail email address. For more than 4 months, there are no emails other than junk mails there. Oh yes, plus one email I forced my friend to send me, titled “test” with content “okay, okay, here is an email for you”.

Later in the same year, I learnt HTML and made my first web page. I was so excited to have a simple HTML page with my scanned photo on it, my name with different colors each character, then a big font of “Welcome to My Homepage”. The next day, I went to university’s computer lab to create a Geocities account to upload my homepage. From all people that I know, I was the first to have a personal homepage on the net, even though it was just a single lame page.

Due to some real life issues, part 4 (and probably the upcoming part 5) release is a bit slow. Being a very interesting anime, Angel Beats! surely become one of my favorite this season.

1. It’s the only anime that started with all characters already dead. It’s kinda unique concept.
2. While some people related Yurippe with Haruhi, I personally thinks they are far different. And this show turned out to be reasonably different from Haruhi, except for the shadows that look like Koizumi’s monsters.

Having purchased the manga, I tried to look for the English translation from the Internet. After searching for few weeks, I could not find anything other than a nice RAW scan from VNSharing.
So I decided to try starting this scanlation project.

This is a one person project, so speed is obviously out of concern.

Just like other kids, I love to watch cartoon when I was little. No specific word of anime that time. I basically watch everything, from The Flistones to Donald Duck, from Superman to Voltus. As far as I can remember, Voltus is probably the first anime I have ever watched. I liked it, but it did not make me love Japanese anime as a specific type of art, different from other cartoons.
